Bored at work diggin through the archives.

1. My tulips last year and some how that mustard weed snuck in

Very nice BC. I always tell the wife, that if it has a flower on it, it is a flower. But she always makes me kill the dandelions. :mrgreen:

Thanks Erv. If I did that I wouldn't have any flowers. Our yard will soon be overrun by Poppies and Lupine. Both my Husband and I mow around them until they get so big it looks like we have small bushes all over. :lol:

A weed is simply a plant in an unwanted place. Enjoy all for their beauty. Example - find the most beautiful wild mustard, known as Blue Dame or Sweet Mustard. The flower heads are white, blue, and mauve, separate colors on each 2 to 4 foot plants in Michigan and can survive in ditches, competing with quackgrass. Prolific seed producer, easily controlled, not a weed in my book! Pete
