I canceled my Adobe photographers bundle subscription, found something I like better
I have been using the Adobe light room and Photoshop for $10 a month for two years now and have been happy.
Just recently I saw a preview of alien skin exposure X and immediately I recognized that it was a lightroom killer.
I have been using it (version 7) since yesterday I am and I am very impressed. For my needs it does the job very well and it will pay for itself in a year based on saving $11 a month on the Adobe subscription.
If your editing, like mine, is minimal and basic you might want to check it out.
I dropped all of the Adobe CC products about 3 months ago in favor of DXO Optics pro-what a PITA that was-constant phone calls and emails trying to keep me as a customer-not to mention I had to go through customer service just to cancel. It left me not wanting anything to do with Adobe.

I canceled my Adobe subscription also, and I agree, it's a pain in the butt
I will look into this also
I have Alien Skin 6. Very underrated software in my humble opinion. Enjoy its a great package
I'm finding the organization very nice. It just edits images wherever it finds them and puts the edit-record file in the same folder. I just tried to edit a photo in my icloud folder and it worked great.
that means you can edit anywhere without taking the picture folder with you...

Interesting. I'll look in to that. Thanks.

Thanks for the heads up. I do a lot of wildlife and continuous action shots, so I have lots of photos to cull after each shoot. Adobe recently screwed up the Import function and it was slow and clunky to begin with. I may follow you down that same path. Is there a free trial you can play with?
Oops, answered my own question. Yes and it looks very interesting...

Yep. Just go to alien skin's site to download a fully functioning demo.
Thanks for the heads up, rpavich. I will look into it as well.
I never move up to Adobe CC.
Kept my CS6 PS and 5.7 LR
that way I have no monthly charge
or new purchase cost.
And they will do 99 % of what
any other software will do.
They both work well in Win 10

Well, you can cancel this on line so I do not see why you even had to speak to anyone. This complaint is rather odd.
As to calling you back... I canceled my Cloud subscription (all programs including dream weaver and illustrator). I did not hear a 'peep' from Adobe. (July 2015). One month later I re-subscribed for PS CC only. Still no 'peep' from Adobe.

You cannot cancel online. When you choose the "cancel my subscription" option online, it tells you that you MUST call customer service as that isn't available online.

Does it have the ability to import your LR catalog, including edits, keywords, captions, etc.?
