Very nice captures, Piet! The last one is my favorite, I like the flowers in the foreground and the mountains in the background, make a nice composition!

I don't have any idea of how far we are looking. This was taken looking probably SSE from 20 miles S of Front Royal VA on Skyline Drive. The colors are in or are approaching Peak here now, moving South rapidly!!
