Thank you for peeking,John. Not a super pic,but a thought to encourage visitors to take this road. Low clouds in the AM always appeal to me particularly in the mountains.

Guess I didn't find that road when I was there in 1999. :)
With your permission I could make a little tweak to it?

Absolutely! My new computer should be here tomorrow and by next week I'll start the "post processing journey." I don't want to get radical, just some tweaking and cleaning.

There is also a little traveled 5 mile road behind the Mammoth Springs Hotel that is a nice side trip. Many folks don't have the time to pursue some of these things and most are not even aware of these "extras."

What I did is slightly brighten the light colored grass then brighten the whole image. Lastly I brought the highlights down a little and this is what I got. This was all done in Photoshop. It's not a huge difference. :)

I will have to look for these little roads when we go back to Yellowstone (maybe next year) with our daughter. She is 15 now and will be 16 then and will certainly be old enough to remember the trip. ;)

P.S. Look at the download folks to appreciate Dave's beautiful photo.

Thank you,John, that's what I'm interested in accomplishing!

It will also help when I get more experience shooting.

Sometimes, due to conditions, the shot just needs a little boost in post. :) Glad you like it. Have a great day! :)
