Out of Africa with an FZ100

Just to show you the type of results achievable with this camera, FZ1000, missed a zero off the end.

I took almost 3000 photographs and got some shots that were great and some that were not so good due to the reach of the lens, can't help thinking all the DSLR's had the same problem though at long distance but all in all some really good results. One thing critical is the sensor size and the ability to crop.

I bought this camera just for the 600 mm zoom. What a surprise with the total results & its features. Nice shots.

At what distance was the first shot taken ? I use the Nikon p900 and have often considered getting the FZ 1000 but it is a more expensive camera !

She was quite close , maybe 20 ft away. I was impressed with the low light ability though.
