In both of my Nikons, 7000 and 3300 (as I know in many cameras) there are these series of scenic modes. I took a photo today of buildings using the 'color sketch' setting. Okay, I loved it. I would like to apply that effect to some previously shot pictures. Is there a way I can capture that information somewhere and copy it? Or how I would prepare a preset in Lightroom to use that effect?
I hope I am clear in my question. I am comfortable using LR as it is setup when purchased; have not made or imported presets.
thanks in advance
Check out fotosketcher.com
It's free, and I think it may be what you're looking for.
krl48 - I tried to check out your suggestion, but "
www.fotosketcher.com" does not appear to be an active website. Could you recheck the spelling of the website name?
Flyextreme !! are you implying that people should realize that there are search engines like Google that will find things for them? Yep, I agree, too often UHH people expect that mama will do for them even as an adult... 9th grade attitude!!
Like fools, with only partial information, we went in and helped a poster yesterday and gave solutions... no recognition that the poster had looked at their own site... and certainly no "thank you for efforts" ... is the UHH rule. Got they no fetchens? (= were they not brought up properly as children?)
It would be nice if we could be implanted with all the knowledge necessary to use a computer, huh?? That's what happens when you aren't born with bluetooths or blueblood. :(
There are many free programs, fotosketcher, paint.NET, GIMP.... try one. Gimp has some great features and many plug-ins are available for more effects, and there are many tutorials available as well. paint.NET is easy-peasy and does a lot. Fotosketcher is really easy to learn and does a lot of interesting things to a photo. Good luck!!
