Welcome to Day 101 :) Today is Telephoto Tuesday... so break out those long lens' and bring the world closer to you.
I decided not to do landscapes this time .. so I didn't take the telephoto with me ... and I was bored so I ended up turning the photos black and white LOL
I don't do a lot of telephoto shots unless I'm traveling so as Peanut would say - we're travel logging again today.. Maybe tomorrow I will actually go somewhere I can take pictures here in town.... Here are a couple in town and out of town......
I believe this is what they call the Blue Vista - from the Coronado Trail in Az. this is the long shot
And here's the telephoto
I like trees and was taken by how this tree fit the staircase
Took this telephoto shot at the local rodeo
Then backed the camera off and got the same cowboy as the pickup man came in to help him off the bucking horse.

I tried some flowers this morning with a 75-300mm. It was overcast and around 32 degrees. I didn't want to work with a tripod. The ducks are from February.

the last two are tone mapped not going to call it HDR anymore because it's really called tone mapped because I'm not shooting 3 of the same pictures over and under exposed to make it HDR......................am I correct photogrl???? But I do like the look what ever you want to call it.

f/stop's work makes me hesitate to post bird photos.
I took these zoomed at 300mm and at a distance that had maxed the capabilities of my lens and my personal ability to capture fairly small flying birds. All were cropped for detail otherwise there's nothing much there.
Uncropped for perspective
