Please describe converted. I have a Lumix point and shoot and it takes good pictures but none like this. After conversion can you still take color shots?

A converted camera can only be used for infrared black and white in my case. However there is a conversion that does color and black and white, but the color IR is not the normal color you would have on your not converted camera, I call it abstract. Conversions cost around $150 you would have to google it. Hope that helps.
