Calling it quits, don`t think I can get better than this and I`m tired of trying. So many other subjects to shoot.

Nice, good detail. I think you may have achieved your goal. I know what you mean about not obsessing on one subject too long. Though I may return to something some time later, perhaps after years.

Right on. Shooting the moon can be addictive. See you eye doctor, in this case your camera in the daylight, and have a go at .....earth. Excellent moon shot....a little tightly framed.

I too, finally got one this good. Many previous attempts. Several pretty good. Many failures. Then came the red moon. Setbacks. I recall the good one, like yours. I have my one good one. My moon shot days are finished. Yours is excellent, maybe a little better than mine. I'm retired from that now. As you stated, many other subjects, so little time.

I think this is great, I've tried moon shots and they all suck. Can't seem to get my ducks in a row...but I know what you mean, I get hung up on one subject too long sometimes too.

Stay with ISO 100 , f/11 and adjust ur shutter. You must experiment. You`ll get it.Remember, the moon is moving across the sky faster than you think, or the Earth is moving, same difference...it is also much brighter than you think
