On October 10, I unexpectedly found myself at Cape Porpoise, Maine - the place made famous on this site by Treepusher. It was fun seeing the locales of some of the excellent photos Randy has posted. I let him know about it and he suggested I post some of mine. This was late morning with the sun high and nothing dramatic for lighting, so here they are. Nikon D7100, Sigma 18-250. Shot in RAW and gently touched up in Camera Raw.

Nice job on these, Dennis. I'm immediately carried back there by your wonderful photos, and thanks for sharing them! I love all the lobster pots on that restaurant, and I hope you noticed all the boats standing on end in the parking lot, lol! Just plain fun!

Lol, those are the ones! Always laugh when I see them. I've shot them several times, never got a photo I liked. This one's good!

There was a big pickup truck parked right next to them. That's why I had to shoot so high. There should have been better compositions available.
