Beautifully composed ediesaul. Very colorful, not overdone and pleasing to the eye. A slight bit of noise that’s not a deal breaker for me, but I'm wondering about the white to grayish blue specs all about and on some leaf edges. Is that a type of treatment?

Thanks, Frank2013, for your comment on the composition. I have been having a lot of trouble with that lately, not satisfied at all with the image in my mind translated through the camera. Perhaps the noise is from moving the sliders in RAW; too much of something?

Hi, jenny! I was under the tree when I took the photo, so you are probably correct in suggesting that the specks are sky. Thanks for looking so closely.

Easy to get rid of the little bright specky things, leave the nice blue light on the leaves where they reflect sky, and think you'll like the result.

Rather nice Edie. Probably pushed a little too far in PP which is resulting in the problems folks have mentioned.
A little less on the Camera Raw sliders and bring out the colours you wish to enhance using the controls in Elements would be my guess.
Often with PP less is better.

Beautiful color, Edie, and I'm definitely a fan. No time like fall to amaze the eye. I like this, but maybe a bit oversaturated. With the bright, beautiful and rich color palette here, less might be more.

I looked at the original photo. You are definitely right. Beginner's mistake!!! Who needs to help Mother Nature that much. Thanks for looking and your comments, Treepusher.

I dunno, Edie—I like the picture just as it is. I think Mother needs a little help sometimes. It is awfully hard to know when enough is too much (or something), but it's got me to wondering. I think I'm gonna open a thread.

I think it would be better without the slightly purple haziness in the top left corner.
