I've been sitting back for a few days, getting the lay of the land so to speak and figured it's time I said hello. I'm Frank, a rank amateur if ever there was one when it comes to photography, so please don't be too harsh when I finally get around to posting some of my feeble attempts. Looking at the collection of work here, clearly I have a lot to learn.

Nobody is here trying to make professionals out of newcomers. The objective here is to take pictures and have fun and maybe learn a little along the way.

Don't be afraid to post pictures. Posting pictures, getting together with other users and asking questions are some of the best ways to learn. Welcome to the "hog".
