WANTED - Wide angle lens for Nikon D7100

I am looking for a wide angle lens for my Nikon D7100. Looking for something with a bit of range, like maybe a 12-28mm F/4. I live in Toronto, Ontario, but I do have a U.S. mailing address that you can use as well...unless you live in Ontario too!! :-P

Not as wide as other options, but a great DX choice is the Nikon 12-24 f/4G ED IF AF-S DX

I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on a lens. Heard that the these lens by Tonika (not sure of exact spelling) go for approximately $450 new, but would consider a gently used one. How much doe the Nikon 12-24 lens go for?

An EX used copy from an outfit like KEH will run you around $600, half the price of a new copy.

I have the 11-16, it's a great lens. I use it on a D3100 and D5100

I've been pleased with the Tokina 12-24 (replaced) and I believe that reviews have treated the Tokinas well.

16-85 Nikon is a great lens, small, light, great walk around lens. I use it on my 7100 on ski trips, fits inside my jacket, city shots, just a great all around lens. KEH have several used for under $500. Cannot say enough about this lens.

This Tokina 12-28 f4 is the one I recommend !

I think this replaced the 12-24 F4 that I have. Good deal at B&H right now.

I also have a D7100 & have a Nikon 18-140 lens.Takes great landscape photos,just a great walk around lens.I bought mine on eBay.

Perhaps the OP should learn to check out Adorama,B&H,Cameta,KEH, etc., for pricing. Nothing like first hand info...
