Never shot this before.
3 minute exposure in a red zone low on the horizon gets ugly quick.
ISO 100 179 seconds 750mm Newtonian
1st is as shot
2nd is massaged in Canon Digital Professional
Rough but its a start.

That's really cool never even thought of shooting this target. Might have to see if it's possible at this location.

Im at 35 degrees North and it's pretty low on the horizon for me.

I really like what you did to the "Purtied up" version Jim.
Now all you need is an IR converted camera.

I actually was able to shoot this target last night, sadly it was so shortly after Sunset my exposures were very short with low ISO. Only able to grab six frames before it hid behind my deck. If you don't mind I can post a single 120s200ISO image. I will also try some PP on the subs to see if stacking helps, will post new thread for those if able to get anything.
