Win 10. 1 warning and 1 question

Anyone with a Del computer running "Del Stage". Before upgrading to win 10, go to control panel and uninstall Del Stage. This will save you hours of work trying to outsmart the repeating black screen. Learned the hard way.
On an HP computer, the win 10 scan said the video adapter was not compatible. I upgraded the vid card, checked for updates and verified win 10 compatibility with nvidia. On trying to upgrade (from win 7 to win 10) I get the pop up window that says my vid card is not compatible but still lists the old card and the original date the scan was run. Cannot get the software to re-scan. An online chat with microsoft tech was unsuccessful as he kept telling me to update drivers (already done) and check with card manufacturer(already done). He could not see there is a glitch in the scan software that will not let it re-scan. Just uses the old files. Anyone with an Idea will be appreciated.

I got my Dell in January, but I never heard of Stage.
