Hello everyone. My name is Dennis and I live in Miami. I started taking photos seriously 4 years ago. I enjoy photographing wildlife and scenic outdoor photos. I currently have a D5000,D7000 and D7100. I have been lurking on this forum for about a year and have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge. I thought it was about time I became a member. I would like to get into post processing my photos other than with iphotos. :)

I lived in Miami until 2003. Is the Camera Clinic still in business? Do you know a decent camera repair facility in or around Miami?

Welcome to UHH Dennis :) Enjoy, Everglades National park should be a little more user friendly soon ,less bugs. The white pelicans are starting to show up.

Hello David, The camera Clinic is in Fort Lauderale and is still in business. I live in Kendall which is a ways away and I have never been there. Southern Photo Technical Services is in No. Miami Beach which I have used and I am happy with their services.

I have been going to the park for the past 25 years and frequent the park often. It is one of my favorite place to fish and photograph.

Welcome to UHH Dennis!!! You're entering a field of very self-satisfying photographic production. Make sure you try using Lightroom for post processing your photos. It's one of the easiest programs available to newcomers. You'll be turning out professional looking pictures in a day or two! Good luck!!!
