What is the advantage of the app compared to downloading the manual in PDF format from Nikon and reading it in iBook?

I wondered the same thing myself. That's why I'm going to give it a try. I have the pdf manuals, so I'll see how this compares. If I don't like it, I'll demand a refund.

I like mine. Had it a while. Sure beats carrying around a pdf manual with me when I have a question.
