I can't find my Intervalometer!
I've torn apart everything I took to the Blood Moon event.
I can't find it anywhere!
I do know when it will magically show up though...

About the time it's replacement gets here from Amazon on Sunday.
Wireless, this time.

I hate it when that happens!
Forced gas.

It is either in the desert somewhere that you dropped it. Or it got packed in someone else's gear bag and they haven't looked in the bag since then. (See how nice I am, I am assuming it was an accident.)

I think I stuck it in my jacket pocket. So it falling out during packing up is a real possibility. Loading up in the dark.
But a wireless replacement is on the way.

That part is GT's fault. He said he got sent a wireless release by mistake, and he found he prefers it.
So I think I'll blame him for the wireless part.

So either some little critters are trying to figure out what this thing is they found or it is between the cushions of the car seat etc. Did you check all the pockets of all your coats in case you didn't wear the coat you think you wore.

Oh, once I lost my checkbook I thought was in my coat pocket. I was going nuts, then I noticed the coat wasn't draped right on the hanger. Turned out the liner of the coat pocket came undone on one side and my checkbook was between the coat's liner and the shell at the bottom, in the middle of the back.

I've looked everywhere.
Even places I wasn't.
But haven't been back to that mountain.
Sigh.

I once lost a 6" crescent wrench.
I finally found it in the bottom of a front pocket of my jeans, days later.
Now, how many times do you stick a hand in a pocket? I do a lot.
And how could I not feel it riding against my leg?

You will find your Intervalometer along with many lonesome single socks. Your big mistake, putting in the washing machine.

OR

It may have been licensed by Adobe for one year and then just automatically disappeared at the end of a year.

POOF!
And out the fan in a green cloud!

Yesterday the wife was running the laundry through.
She came in and said, "Good thing you didn't need this."
And handed me my little bomb-proof, air tight, water proof, plated brass container.... that has my field supply of nitro in it.
Speaking of the washing machine...

Hey Sonny..

Guess what after an evening getting all the camera gear together last night for a photo session this morning, arising at OH-DARK-30 I could not find my camera remote NO where.
So I have a bunch of photos that look like double exposures of the moon planet line up......

This was a simple remote for my Nikon D80 not an Intervalometer like you have, but it did work. I know it's around here some place as I last put it in a spot where I could find it, YA SURE

What brand of Intervalometer do you use ? ? ? I need to get one some day...

I did a search On B&H for an Intervalometer and got some
450 hits, I need one for my Nikon D600....

Wish you luck in your search...

WALT

P.S.
Don't lose the nitro ! ! ! !

Hey Sonny.. br br Guess what after an evening get... (show quote)

Hi Walt,
Sorry to hear we are having a rash of traveling remotes. :)
That one was a Polaroid Brand.
Likely compatible with yours. D600 is listed.

What is coming is a step up. (I hope)
Wireless this time.
VILTROX JY-710
And here again your D600 is listed as compatible.

Be careful Walt, I think I'm reading the beginnings of a gas attack...

65, buster. And 5 years out.
I think I used it once.
All Nitro Glycerin does is dilate the blood vessels. Takes the strain off the heart.
But the doc sez to carry it.
Hey, it probably does good to wash my bomb-proof container now and then...

Back from where? Floating around with your head in the clouds?
Aren't we glad they don't use farts in those balloons?
Looks like you had a great time! ;) :)

59 gramps and so far so good. ;p

We had a really good week.
No incidents and fairly good weather. No down days which is unusual.
Thanks!
(I was a paramedic so I am all to familiar with nitro.)
