I have a new lens, it's a Sigma 70-300 APO manual focus lens with a Minolta mount, I use a adaptor to shoot it on my Sony a6000, I'm really starting to like this lens :P

The first flower is some kind of wild flower, I don't know what it is but blooms every year, I was surprised it bloomed this year because we have had no rain, zip, notta, none.

Couldn't be more beautiful, Johnny. Looks like fall has arrived in your neck of the woods.

Thanks much Donna, Fall is not here yet, it's just everything is burned up from the lack of rain.

It is rare to get fall colors here, the leaves just turn brown and fall off (dang it) :?

Same here, Johnny. Most of our fall color is from Japanese maples. :-D

Excellent shots with this lens, Johnny. Sharp, great color, and very enjoyable to view. The first flower looks like a Coreopsis, or at least some member of the Rudbeckia family.

I often use old Minolta lenses with an E-mount adapter on my own Sony, and get great results for very short money. This Sigma's doing a nice job for you, but you might even give one of the older Minoltas a try, too. Mostly dirt cheap and very good quality.
