Welcome to Day 100 :) Woot I feel like we hit a milestone today. It is Macro Mondays .... closeups count.
I didn't get to use the extension tubes for this but I am planning on attempting them again today. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
not a very good water drop but it was the best I could do with the lens I was using
I have a thing for old bells .. wish I would have taken a different lens than the 28-105mm though
this cactus was so pretty
this one was so unusual it caught my eye
prickly pear cactus starting to bloom

P. 1 Love your cactus flowers. The third one - if it was turned upside down the flower would look like a ballerina skirt. And the 4th looks like a cute cap. My imagination is running over board this evening. Love the yellow Rose too.

LOVE LOVE Betty's outfit today!!
Okay.. now that I've been up for two hours and its only 6:00am here in So Cal (wanted to catch a nice sunrise - but no inspiration - too flat - no clouds...) so here are my Macro Monday shots.. Its a random mix taken from last summer's visit to Montana to the shamrocks from yesterday.
Fist sized dandelion's in Montana
Flower stalks from succlents in front yard
And a friendly bee... didn't even bother it that I was three inches away!
Bearded Iris - first one up last year (haven't bloomed yet this year?)
And the teeny tiny pin shamrocks at the base of our Mulberry tree, yesterday morning..

Thanks Peanut... I actually thought those yellow flower spears were ugly, but my hubby kept pestering me to take pictures so when I really started shooting and realized the spears were made up of these tiny yellow flowers, they became more interesting...
