Zion N. P. / Kolob Canyons
A couple I took to day. It is about 30 minutes from my house.
Wow! I am envious.
Nice captures.
You live next door to a paradise. But how's winter?

my winter are usually great. Kolob Canyon are about 7000 ft but we are at 2400 feet. It really drops in the thirty miles to my house. We are in the high desert of Southern Utah. Daytime temps are in the thirty's and forty's. At night it drops into the teens. But 2013 was exceptionally cold it got down to -2F and did not rise above freezing for a month and the snows lingered. But that is extremely rare and we have lived here for 20+ years. Snow is a rare commodity and only last for a few hrs when it comes. It usually melts away by noon.
Once I looked up Washington and realized it was next to St. George, I knew you were in paradise.
Beautiful, Paul! How nice that you live so close to the park!
