Canon describes it as refurbished. Might really be new. The two I've seen purchased, sure looked like new in the box. (holdovers from initial manufacturing run?).

Still loving and learning mine, a month now. Took HDR 3 shots stack and tried the $30 German "HDR Projects 3 Professional" Found it to be a Great Program... Lots of well defined adjustments for HDR (by pop up). I highly recommend it. (?? has any one use the focus stack option??)

The camera did it thing correctly. Me, I made mistakes, should have used the -ev and polymerizing** filter to get sky not blow-out. NOTE THE ADAPTER RING LISTED BELOW
