Good or back to the drawing board?
I have not been following this thread, BUT...
My first impression is, This is good! The I look closer and think its good, but a little muddy. I can't find a better way to say it. I like the overall...but the rightside above the structure needs to be defined better(?). The whole image looks like a cloud, or fog is in the air.
Also the electric(?) lines are kinda distracting
I hope this helps.

Thak you for your comments.
It looks kind of foggy because it is. I guess I need to figure out a way to make the fog stand out more without being muddy. I hate those lines, but I do like having electricity in the house.
Just the building and the plant? I think every thing else distracts. Your light is perfect though .. nice time of day for this shot.

Of the three Tomatillos this one is my favorite.
The morning fog contributes but I find myself wanting it to be a little thicker. Nothing you can do about that without a lot of fuss in PP. Could be done, however. A little more local contrast on the building?
This piece must be seen in download otherwise a lot will be missed. It seems on first glance to be "snapshottish" but then when I look closer at the lifting fog and the light striking the foreground and the cabin a feeling of presence begins to take my mind to those early mornings when I step outside and view the beginnng a beautiful day ahead which will be full of all manner of wonderful events leading to a feeling of "Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin'".
I don't think cropping is in order. The only possible correction would be a little more space on the left if there is any in the negative.
The other two tomatillos are fine photographs but do not have the same effect on me that #3 has.
Good job, Judy!

Thank you Jim.
I have added a little fog. There is more room on the left, but there is a telephone pole there I have cloned it out, but it only give me a little more room maybe that is enough.
Your description fits the feeling that I had while photographing this. I wish I was as articulate as you, but I love those early morning sunrises with the fog. Living in a marsh gives us lots of foggy mornings.
Revised here.

Maybe a square crop?
Yes ... and get in as close as you can so you don't have to crop that much. The detail gets better as you get closer. IMHO
