Got up early this morning to see the predawn lineup of Jupiter ,Mars, Venus and the Moon only to discover the eastern sky pretty fairly socked in with clouds, however by the time I had a cup of coffee in hand things cleared up nicely

Nice shot. The star immediately to the left of Venus is Regulus in the constellation Leo. And farther to the left is Algieba which is very nice looking binary star in a small telescope.
Good work.

Thanks Bloke, I was wishing that the legs on my tripod would extend a bit more , almost couldn't get the reflection !

It is wonderfully composed.
What if, or what I'd try, is to get more reflections.
It looks to be a great location!

thats just what i'm working on Sonny , adding water to the pond all day to see if i can get the angle right and get some more reflection , I originally dug the ponding area as flood control. It is just yards from my house and has become quite the attraction for all kinds of critters and photos
