This is a cool project I stumbled on to by accident. I was searching through one of the Nashville Predators fan pages on Facebook that I belong to and came across a message from a fellow member, Justin Bradford. He stated he was writing a book on the history of the Predators and needed help with photos.
Since I used to cover the Predators from 2004-11, I figured I had one or two shots he'd like. I sent him 400 to choose from and he selected 32 of my shots which he tells me is more than three times as many as the next closest photographer. His publisher selected my shot of Kimmo Timonen for the cover and the smaller shot of Wade Belak fighting (middle photo) on the back of the jacket. The book's release date isn't until Oct. 26, but it is up on Amazon now for pre-orders. I've posted a screengrab of the Amazon page, along with the link.

The photo on page 14 is one I shot of our former Governor and his wife during the Western Conference semi-finals in 2007. You'll notice, the publisher gave us photo credit at the end of every cutline.
Not too shabby!

Thank you. I'm involved with another kids book with the Predators only, this time I'm cartooning it.

Sounds like you are a very talented man. Photographer and cartoonist. :)
I was a traditional artist long before I picked up a camera. I have been able to use that creativity to do so really unique things with my photography. I post mainly in the Post Processing and For Your Consideration sections and have posted a few tutorials for some of my techniques. Here's a link to something I posted Sunday using compositing and digital painting that I enjoy:
