Sorry Craig, those are air craft lights that have to be flown before dawn.
But they do sort of look like something else don't they.
Thank you though.

Well I'll be darn. I just figured they would be astronomical body's.
Venus, Mars, Jupiter and the Moon are in close proximity this week.

WALT

Thank you Walt.
Dawn patrol and glows can be easy or they can be difficult.
It has taken me several years to get shots like this and like everything else we shoot just lots of practice. I have been ballooning or crewing since 1972 when Sid Cutter wanted to do something special for the grand opening of a new shopping center. I have a friend who's dad needed bodies to help putting up and taking down his balloon. I was shooting film and had to work at my shooting to get decent day shots. We didn't do glows until much later. It was that balloon that I got my first hands on control of in the days before they had a formal training plan.
Again, thank you very much for the compliment.

Because you already posted it earlier?

It was a pretty nice flight. We flew for 30 minutes and landed back on field.
The winds kept shifting letting us get back and messing with the competitive flyers.
Thank you for the compliment.
( This balloon system is for sale, low hours, great fuel economy. )
