Best lab to send email photos to. I am unhappy with Walgreens. I need lab that will also do some correcting.

Walgreens uses the LifePics system, which is growing by leaps and bounds. Even our local camera stores here are now using the LifePics systems. Most CVS and many Office Depot stores also are members of LifePics. Thus, if you don't like Walgreens, skip the other places, too.
I don't consider LifePics to be a photo lab, though. They just print what you send them.
I get my printing done at Costco because I print 370 4x6 photos at a time. That type of volume gets me prints at 9¢ each. I had 11,100 prints done in September and I was happy with every single one of them. However, they also are not a photo lab.

I use Costco also, am usually pleased with the result considering the prices. I'm curious, do you check the autocorrect option, or leave it unchecked?
I check auto correct. Thanks everyone.
Just a question -- don't people usually deliver images ready to print? I am certainly no great post processor, and mostly don't even enjoy it, but when I delivered forty portrait shots of a local group to be printed 8x10 they were as good as I could make them. The resulting prints were acceptably close to what I could see on screen. The "customer" was pleased as well. When you check autocorrect, what happens? When I have used that kind of feature in 3 different post processing tools, my version has always seemed better to me than the program's choice. Thanks!

I personally don't check the autocorrect option, but I can see if one is bringing several hundred at a time to be printed, most likely they have not been able to spend much time processing them, therefore, the autocorrect probably makes sense.
Jackm1943 -- Thanks hadn't thought of the time element. Usually go through 300 plus slides quickly, deleting shots I don't like, then a second pass to make adjustments. Usually those are minimal if I haven't screwed up somehow. A couple of hours -- worst case over two evenings. Not working for anyone but me, though. Retired is likely the key!

I didn't even know they had an autocorrect option. I create my pictures exactly as I want them and Costco is the best I've found that prints exactly what I give them. I have at least 370 printed each day although on one day I had 740 printed and then skipped the next day.

My Costco uses a Frontier for prints up to 12x18. I don't know if the software for loading the files is Frontier or 3rd party. The default is for the autocorrect to be checked, you have to uncheck it to turn it off. It comes up at the very end of the file loading process.

Mpix is fantastic and the customer service superb. I recently had a 16X20 print made but made the mistake of choosing auto correct because the website said each photo is inspected and color corrected by their laboratory staff. I figured if that was the case they would make it look better than I could. I was wrong. It turned out way too dark. I contacted customer service and they reprinted it at no charge without the auto correct. The result was immaculate. I've used Mpix numerous times - always with great results. I highly recommend them.

Target offers photo printing; I don't know about developing.

You had me curious so I went and uploaded a new picture and then looked at all the settings, even pretending that I wanted to order a print. No autocorrect anywhere.
Ref: Costco and autocorrect. You can go into your preferences and turn the autocorrect off. I calibrate my monitor regularly and had my photos done with autocorrect off; that was a big mistake on my part! My photos were consistently dark and flat. I turned the autocorrect back on and it has given me very good results; just like my photos on my monitor.
