Conundrum: Has Apple gone batty?

A while back I bemoaned the fact that I had to all intents and purposes lost iPhoto.

This morning I get an update notice on my iMac. I open the app store and get the following screen. When I click update I get the following screen. I find it funny that i am getting an update screen for a program that is no longer being supported.

This os simply became available this week and the site for download is too busy. Just try again later. This is the new OS

It is not the OS, it is iPhoto. The update is dated March 19, 2015 and It was just sent. I find that funny as the dickens.

El Capitan is the new version of OS X. I don't know where your getting your information, but your wrong. Better check again.

You made the same mistake as I did/ The poster was referring to the bottom of the screen where it says to update IPhoto. We all know that this is no longer supported.
