Again, here is the link http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-338303-1.html#5679314 to my original post with the out-of-camera image, the first warm look that I like for myriad reasons and the final moody, tungsten look with everyone's suggestions and critiques that think I have addressed. To include lightening faces even more; removing distracting hair; adding light gain and a slight greenish tint.

This goes to show how subjective photography/art can be ...

Thoughts?

Though this is as far from what I do as anything could be, I wanted to say I found it very interesting, eye-catching and very polished. I looked back at the other versions and this one seems to have the most appeal for me, though my lack of experience in this genre leaves me at a loss to say why.

It's the creative process and appeal. I guess it's the same reason some folks like classical music and some like rock. I do thank you for your kind words.

I don't consider myself a great photographer; I haven't spent countless hours waiting for the sun to hit the mountain just right. Working in the sports and entertainment industry you don't have time to set anything up.

Much of the time you can't use your own lights and are always under a serious time crunch. Most of the things I shoot I am already thinking about a way to be more creative in post, as that's where, I feel, my true calling is.
