SX50 HS - First Shots

These are shot very quickly and hand held so the quality could be better, but I had to try out the new Canon SX50 HS.
Love this camera.
Still like my Canon 40D and Canon T5i better, but this is great for throwing in my saddle bags on my bike.

The moon shot is sharp! I love how it is shaped too-reminds me of a roll of cheese!

Congrats on your first shots and new camera!!
I've had my sx50 for over a year and just love it, use it 90% of the time!! It's great on macro and zoomed all the way to the moon!!
Have fun with it!!

I thought that there was dirt on the lens of the WaWa shot... but... that is the moon!!! Realized that tbetress was shooting the moon

I have had my SX50 for a month... have not used it much it is either to %#@ hot or raining. A great little camera with lots of followers.. many who bought at $150 refurb.

Some oddities... Bracket rather than being exposure is focus bracketing. Or did I read wrong.

Right away I purchased the 58mm adapter and two extra batteries.

I have never regretted following the consensus here and buying an SX-50 from the Canon refurb site. I am not sure I thanked all the Hogs, so....Thank You!

I have to agree, I have to thank everyone here also.
I was amazed at some photos posted and when I read about the price drop I couldn't believe it.
The first time I heard it I waited a few days and they were out of stock, then someone on the site said they had them back in stock and I went right over an got one, haven't regretted for a single moment.
