This treatment certainly isolates the features of the subject that I find pleasing on one hand, but the overall is too white on the other. Cropped down closer to the boy would help I think.

I agree with Neil that tighter on the boy's head would help...and feel that fruitful further development may be in the direction of further reducing tonal spectrum / posterizing.

Absolutely beautiful, just as is compositionally, but oh please, adjust for just a little less overall brightness.
