They would be lovely shots even without the moon -- I so enjoy anything near the ocean and lighthouses are one of my favorites. I especially like the first shot in your series.

It's definitely one of the most photographed - very accessible. The lighting was challenging and I found out afterward that my camera was set to shoot JPEG instead of RAW. Now my processing options are limited.

Thanks for your comment. I would guess up to 3 dozen tripods were set up. Always happens there for the full moon in the warmer weather. The problem is parking. I got there about 2 hours before moonrise.
