My Icky Kitty

I named her Icky because she stomps on my head every morning between 3 and 5 a.m. telling me it's time to get up. I love her in spite of the name I gave her. I saw several cat pictures here lately so I decided I would post one. I set up a little photo studio around her on our bed and used 3 flashes for this shot and a very shallow depth of field. Not a great shot, but now Icky kitty is finally on the HOG.

Very well done photo of a great looking roommate. I've posted a couple of my roomie a while back. Again, great photo.

I should add that mine just jumps on the bed and meows at me, usually at a time when it's NOT time to actually wake up.

Thank you, my cat showed up one day many years ago and decided that I would feed her and take care of her. I don't know about her background, maybe they are related!

Thank you. Do you also set an alarm every night and end up not needing it? I call her my Icky alarm.

How adorable, mine runs off after stomping across my head, she does not like early morning flying lessons! I toss her in the air to land on the bed if I can catch her. Not my favorite game...

Ted appeared in our village 12 years ago as wild as a coot about 2 years old, I trapped him, got him tested and neutered and it took a year to tame him. He is the most affectionate cat we have ever had and we had 11 at one stage, all appeared on the doorstep, some tame some wild. I go out on farms etc, trapping, testing and neutering cats as we have a big problem with leukaemia and cat aides in the feral population. :-)

We had house cats, yard cats and feral cats growing up. Sounds like Ted picked you, too. I only have the one cat, but my pretty girl has 5 at her house! If another one ever shows up here, I will take it in.

Very nice shot -- cats can be difficult.

Thanks! The dogs sure seem to think she is a pain!

Sounds like you are very active helping. My cat is fixed so there won't be any more from me. One is enough!
