Hope this is an ok place to make a statement...
Sure hope ya'll got some great shots tonight of the Super Duper Full Blood Moon shots of the Eclipse. Every event this year as far as stars and the moon go, it has been nothing but cloudy and/or rainy here. Nothing. Nada. Zero.
The only hope left now is that the clouds might clear a bit to catch something of the eclipse later on, but dang. I'm a tad ticked. Had a view picked out overlooking a lake.
OK. Whining stopped now. Thanks for listening.

Just got up to go back out and check. While the moon was shining, you could see some lighter areas in the clouds. 'Twas hoping the clouds were beginning to break up, but nooooo, that just ain't happening. Guess I gotta wait a few more years yet. Shoot!
I was fortunate enough to to see it between clouds for a few minutes.

Thanks for sharing! You saw way more than we did in my area - Central Virginia, USA.
Sitting out on the patio on the east side of the Rockies a half mile up from civilization near Morrison, CO, we were able to watch almost all of it. Only a few wispy clouds got in the way. Sadly, my good camera is down in Colorado Springs, so got not one shot, but as long as the old memory still works, it's registered there! Quite exciting and I don't usually get too excited over happenings in the sky.
The fog and clouds blocked everything in San Francisco......urgh.....nothing!

Cleveland, The total was pretty much covered by clouds. The period between umbra and penumbra on the backside popped through the clouds every so often.
