Seems to me that they turn on the lighthouse light sometime in November. Anyone know when?

I think that it is turned on the 1st weekend of the month. There is something they do with the anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

I checked and the light comes on the evening of Nov. 10 each year to commemorate the sinking of the ship Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior on Nov. 10, 1975

That is a fun area to go shooting. A small group of us photo-types from Des Moines used to go up there and always got some keeper shots. That lighthouse was my favorite spot. Thanks for taking me back a few years. Don
