I looked it up, heck it's only $8500. The 600mm is $10,300.
Lets get one of each! LOL

Surely that is normally only with counterfeit goods? I may be mistaken, of course.

Smuggling is big business in China, where the government wants their cut of every single import sale. These confiscated items are authentic Nikon, and now the property of the government of China. In all likelihood, these items will reach the Chinese market, with all receipts going to the government.
