PS Content-Aware

I know I can circle an area in PS, press Delete, and have Content-Aware Fill do the rest. However, I have seen ads on this forum in which a cursor clicks along a powerline, for example, and then it is deleted. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks, but I'm looking for something else. That's too much like the lassoo tool which I usually use. In the demo, the cursor would click here and there on the line, leaving little black squares. Then the line would disappear.

You have me there,I was not aware of another method that can work better than content aware. But you will probably find an answer on Utube under Photoshop tuition.

That is one tricky program to use, but it does a great job when you cooperate with it.

That is a new PS 6 feature. It shows up in their 'why you should buy/update it' videos. There is another great feature wherein you could move a foreground object, for example, to the right and it would fill in the vacated area with whatever was originally around it, like grass. So, Uncle Frank could be moved closer in a group shot and the grass and sidewalk under his feet and around him would repair themselves automatically. Very useful.
