Browsing around one day, discovered the UHH, and realize I have found a great clubhouse to play in. Have been hanging around on the edges for a week or so, listening (actually, reading) the conversations and have decided it's where I want to spend my photography learning time, and the level of folks I like being around. What a great site! Thanks to all and everyone who created it, plays in it, and keeps it such a great place. Have realized there's much to learn, and that I might have a helpful contribution to make as well.

Welcome..nice shots. I really like #1. Here's a thought..when posting, click on 'choose file'. That will give us an image we can download...makes are big difference. :)

Thanks to all for the encouraging comments.
Using a Canon EOS Rebel XSi with the standard kit lenses, 18-55mm and a 55-250mm. A bit of post processing on all three, but not much. Sometimes, less is more.
(I bought a Canon because of their support for some really good shows on PBS; Nova, Art Wolf, Nature and the like.)
Will post some more later this week for comment.
