Obama the wordsmith

In his speech with the Pope yesterday, Obama said "We stand with you in defense of religious freedom" and People everywhere must be able to live out their faith free from fear and free from intimidation.
You can imagine wh**ever you want in terms of what he was thinking when he said those words, but it's glaringly obvious that these words are a direct contradiction of his actions in ruling this country.
Obama's a smart man, so he must also know that these words belie his actions. So who is he trying to fool?
The pope? He's also a smart man and most likely saw right through the lies.
The opposition? Not likely.
His base? His base is out screaming their heads off trying to limit the religious freedoms of the owners of Hobby Lobby and Chik-fil-a, wedding photographers and bakers, so if they believe his words they aren't connecting the dots.
My guess is that Obama's words were to feed the sycophantic press with sound bites that satisfy the narrative they want to give.

This chronic liar never worries about having his words and actions match as the press rarely calls him on his lies and disinformation. He surfs upon an ocean of lies as do his adjerents. Nothing new or unusual but business as usual for this Detroyer.
