I have the same problem. It always cuts out at just the worst moments. :(

Yes, sign of the times, we were warned about what pay TV was going to do and it did about all right now.
Gotta get cable, no bouts a doubt it!

We had a huge problem with that at my house too. Of course the main problem at my house was that we were still working with an analog TV using the converter box. It all changed though when we got a digital TV. Although sometimes when the satellite we have now goes out and we switch to those channels we do have a little bit of a problem on a couple of the channels with our rabbit ears and have to move them around some and still can't hardly get them in, but not as bad of one we had with that crazy converter box.

You think this is making out like a bandit, just wait until 2013 when everyone will be charged a user fee of 1% on all bank transactions if HR4646 is approved. That is for each deposit, cashed check, tranfer and or bill paying. IRS is supposed to go direct deposit, 1% to deposit-transfer from savings to checking another 1%-pay a bill another 1%- need cash out another 1%. That's a multiple user fee on the same money.
There is a significant difference in digital and anolog antennas. Seems like your problem is that you're using a set of old anolog rabbit ears to capture a digital signal. I had a similar problem until I replaced the roof antenna with an HD digital unit. Cost about $100 at Radia Shrek and it captures all the local stations up to 100 miles or so if mounted high enough. I isolated the antenna from the houshold cable distribution wiring by installing an amplifier and grounded the antenna properly in case of lightning strikes. Then, after all that installation, I sold the house and moved to my present location where there's either 4 analog channels or digital through satelite dish only (and I'm not talking one of those small dishes either).
I agree that cable is a much better choice for tv reception and satelite dishes can be scrambled a bit during storms, but they charge monthly fees for service and FIOS is not available in all parts of the USA. The digital HD antenna solution is a one time charge and if you're within 100 miles of your local broadcasters, it works fine even for the PBS 1080HD broadcasts on their digital channels. Radio Shrek is good for something still anyway.

You need to know that the whole HR4646 is really something more of an urban scare than reality. It's the kind of thing some people love to spread to instigate fear or hate.

We have to all get together and fight this B.S. This goes just way too far...Like we haven't been taxed into poverty already.

You need to read two posts above yours for the real answer.
Yes, and once we are all forced to used those cash cards it is really going to get scarey. pretty soon we will spend all the money we aren't spending on "taxes" on "fees" for spending the money on "taxes" and on and on.....
