I would like to draft an invitation card for our parents 70th Wedding Anniversary in December 2015 and I'd like to have their picture as a background (silhouette) on the invitation card.

We will have around 260 invitations (500+ persons) to be expected to come for the event.

I'd like to seek UHH's opinion whether there's a simple PP for me, as a novice, to work with (if there is any).

Thank you in advance.
Best regards,

Andi

Sorry what does "PP" stand for? Other than when I've had too much coffee?

Making a greetings card with silhouettes is not difficult but the method depends on the software you have now.

Re the links, just click the link in my signature and you will go straight to the PP section. There you will get all the help and advice you need.

About how much money are you planning on spending on this shindig?

How much money do you plan to spend on JUST the invitations that it seems you are going to 'do yourself?'

Spend the - relatively - few extra bucks more and have your invitations professionally designed & printed! Take your pictures & your ideas to a designer/artist/graphics artist, PAY them for their services & have them printed. You may even come out ahead, especially when you consider the time you'll be spending learning PP'ing.
