Help re-downloading 600d Instruction DVD ROM TO NY WINDOWS 8.1 LAPTOP

I have tried to download my 600D dvd rom onto my laptop which is windows 8.1, without any luck.
why am I having this problem, on my old laptop it just ran and downloaded automatically, what am I doing wrong,
I find that I use zoom brow x and DPP, quite a lot, and miss not having them at my disposal,

Try the Canon website. There are different ones for the USA, Europe, and I assume the Antipodes....
The 600D / (T3i in the USA) has a whole bunch of download software that should be able to set you right. Even if you do not have the original disc you can download things that will get you going.
It seems to work with windows 10 for me, did on Windows 7. Is it a download problem or an install problem? Can you be more specific?
