Rescued from my porch and it stayed on outside of screen for awhile.

Wow--thought we were seeing the new Russian stealth fighter there for a second! Great shots of an unusual moth!

I think there are a lot of night critters out there that are pretty cool. Fortunately this one was stuck on my screened porch - one door is open to dog yard and much wildlife comes in.

It's a beauty, and I think the screen actually enhances it. I'd love to see one of those.

Never see in the daytime. If hadn't been trapped on the porch and held still for me, I wouldn't have been able to get a mugshot in daylight. I'm sure if there is one here, there are more but never see them because they are night critters.

Try the night sheet and light routine. You hang a sheet on a line for them to light on. You have a strong light. a florescent one is helpful and just set down to wait. before you know it you have a sheet full of insects including some awesome moths.

I'll do that, Corolyn! And I'll let you know what I find.
