Lightroom does not have too many options for framing. Photoshop is too time consuming. Any software available where I can put some nice frames around my photos?

Photoshop is not time consuming if you use the various free frame actions that are available. Look for Bud's Framing Actions or others.

Umm utilizing actions PS taking less than 3 seconds, I can't think of anything faster. So I would have to say "NO" there is nothing faster than PS.

Picasa has a Border tool that does this. It features an outer and inner border which can be varied in thickness, color, with some choices for varying corner shapes.

Picasa is free.

If you try Picasa, go directly to the source (and unclick any options/downloads you don't wan't included):

http://picasa.google.com

When choosing colors, there is a "picker" to select a color from within your image.

Yep. Microsoft Word. All you have to do is learn how to click your mouse a couple of times, choose a frame, and click again.

In early days of PS5 & 7 my favorite was a "One Click" drop shadow frame action - darned if I can find one for CS 4.
