The pixel race is on again or it never stopped. Nikon still has more dynamic range.

The D820, or D900, whatever it gets called will most likely get the 42.6MP Sony sensor with Nikons Expeed 4 Processor, making for what should be quite a fine camera. Only time will tell, probably still 3 or 4 months from announcement date though.

By increasing the megapixels to extreme will put a burden on most computers as far as storage, processor speed and graphics for post processing.

Read my post on SSD and router. SSD drives make fix many problems.

I have an SSD drive, however it does not have room for massive size files and you have to consider processer power and graphic card in the equation.

It sure is nice to have those massive files when you get to cropping. I love the cropability of my D800

I agree. I put in a 500GB which is big enough for me.

I cannot get this web site to load. I get a connection timeout every time! Now long did it take others to get this site up?

Very strange. Click on the link or copy and paste into both Safari or Firefox and it never comes up. Oh well.
By the by, I have found this theme going back to Dec of 2014. So who knows what will happen when.
