A few from the 471 I shot yesterday at the Owensboro, Kentucky air show.
Such a beautiful plane. Love it. Cheers.
In my opinion, the most beautiful plane ever built.
Nice shots! Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding set of photos! Always loved the flying Fortress. I was shocked to find out how small it really is though!
Well done.....nice and sharp.
Nice shots. Looks as if the weather was kind for you.
I've attached one I took last August at Bournemouth Air Festival UK. (I hope you don't mind). The weather was not so kind.
Yes, the weather was perfect. 71 degrees with a light breeze and several cumulus clouds dotting the sky. We also were in a perfect position for shooting the air show and with a cooler of soft drinks and food by our side.
Very nice shots of one of my favorite planes. The last one looks like it was taken from the air above....did you go up for a flight as well?

No I did not go for a flight. Too expensive for me. I shot that one when it made a turn at the end of its pass.
Really nicely done.....any info on how you did, those would be great.
Sure Racin17. All shot with a Sony SLT A65V using a Sigma 18-250 lens. Shot from the spectator area on the south bank of the Ohio River as they flew over the river. Lens was extended to 250 mm. Camera was set to Aperture Priority 1/400 sec to blur the propellers. Camera chose anywhere from f/9 to f/11. Exposure bias was 0.3. Some that were far away I used the built-in 2X extender. Cropped and processed using Picasa 3.
Great shots I love #3 I have a model of the memphis bell. There is great history of the B17s. Nice shots
Great shots, What a beautiful piece of machinery
