I have a 'thing' about bark. The patterns are intriguing.
Am wondering if anyone else in the Hedgehog family photographs bark.
Bark can be interesting. I like the pattern of tree branches as they are in the winter. (Bare ) bb
So do I. Sans leaves one gets to see those interesting patterns.
I often take photos of bark and trees so yes, there are others with that same interest.
Love #1 but all 3 are great IMO.

Hi again, Tom! Please share some of your bark and tree pictures. Did I ever tell you the puppy in your avatar is a handsome one and he looks like he's ready to give me a kiss.
On the Rialto Beach - never been there, on my list of places to visit when I retire next year.
The avatar is Brandi, a 13yo (we think) rescued Belgian Shepherd/Greyhound mix. She's a real sweetie, loves everybody (unless you're a small furry tree climbing animal) and keeps me laughing all the time. That particular shot was taken a couple of months ago - out in the pasture kneeling with a squeaky ball held over my head, just as I pressed the shutter release she apparently decided to lick her nose. I almost fell over when I saw the photo :)
Thanks for telling me about Brandi. Give that pooch a big hug from me.
Hurry up and retire - I want to see your pictures of Rialto Beach. I'm wondering if it's still the same as when I was there in 1990. How time does fly!
Great texture shots, Annie-Get-Your-Gun!
So nice of you to look at my posts, Sue. Yes, lots of texture and interesting
patterns in bark, making it a good subject to shoot.
