Why are you selling the lens? This is the older model, correct?

I bought this lens to use on my full frame MKII body on a 9 day photo safari, at the same time I took my 70 200L with an extender on my 3/4 frame 50D. I found myself primarily using the latter because of the extended telephoto. The 100 -400 took a better picture, but I couldn't get the reach, which was needed for many shots.

Since then it's been in storage along with several other unused lenses. (I went overboard when I got into this digital photo hobby, and will be posting other unused equipment.) I find my main interests are landscape and travel photos, not wildlife.

The lens is in prime condition nd takes a wonderful picture.
