I played around with it to lighten it up. Got rid of the vignette.
However, doesn't look like I helped it - might even be worse.
Would appreciate anything you can do to improve it. I checked store original.

Very dark, muddy, noise is high, blurred on my monitor.
Might want to do a store original on the OOC version without any PP if you want anyone to work on it. Also list exactly what look you want.

Now that I think about it - it was not a good image to begin with and nothing I did helped. I'll be getting back to John Ball in the near future and will try to
get a better shot. Need to pay more attention to camera settings. Really appreciate your offer to help it, but I thinks it's a 'lost cause.' What does OOC mean, please?

I had a play with your tiger, first I gave him black pupils and a catch light, I put the filter Graphic 111 from Topaz glow and just tweaked the sliders a bit. Hope you like it....

I would say that your original shot is perfect. It has suspense and mytery.

Thanks, Kingmapix. Expect to get to John Ball zoo one day next week so maybe - just maybe I'll be posting some good images of the tigers. There's a male and female. If I'm lucky they'll be out in the open and not hidden in the 'jungle.'
