It demonstrates the "off the rails" hypocrisy of those that would have the h****rs head. Did you know that the locals celebrated when Cecil was gone? Did you know that a tour safari guide was k**led a week or 2 later by one of Cecil's p***e?

Newsflash! Lions are dangerous wild animals. So long as he had all the correct permits and whatnot why would anyone care? If you want to cry for Africa go to one of the countries that are in a civil war.

People (ok i***ts) get their panties in a wad over a lion being shot in Africa but can't seem to give a s**t about their fellow man.

This we agree on Donna. If he were my dentist, I would be taking my teeth elsewhere and find a new provider!

We agree 99% of the time Idaho, but personally I feel "trophy hunting" is despicable. They don't eat the game they k**l, they simply mount the head on their wall, of one of Gods beautiful wild creatures. Granted he was entirely legal with all of his necessary permits, but that still does not make any less repugnant.

Trophy hunting is not despicable if you eat the meat! Wastage is illegal under most hunting venues. I'm on my second year of this moose! Delicious and I have a great trophy of the event. Lots of great, once in a lifetime, memories.

Tis fellow is my friend and taxidermist Jeff.

His post yesterday about children and h**e crimes seemed quite reasonable. I was very surprised. It is the only instance that I know of.

Actually from what I have read it was not a legal k**l. It is illegal to bait an animal on a reservation which they did, the property owner did not have a license for the taking of lions and the PH new all this but did it anyway to increase his pocket book. Not to mention the h****r and his PH were ridiculously poor shots and poor sportsmen.

Like I mentioned to idaho from my reading there was nothing legal about this k**l. Started with baiting on a reserve which is completely illegal progressing to the land owner not having permits for the tacking of lion on his property to the illegal and immoral PH who instigated the whole deal. Now in Africa game taken by licensed h****rs is never wasted as all meat is used by locals. Poaching done mostly by Muslim k**lers is another problem though.

I used to talk to a guide for photography safaris in Tanzania and he told me that the rich Saudis were taking over the land that had been used by natives for centuries, they were having the trees cut and making the land hunting grounds for them to capture big game. Sad...
